Finally, I did have one additional question…..  Last summer, when we paid to have our lower unit completely rebuilt, we were issued a one-year warranty on the parts & labor (as mentioned above).  After picking up our boat yesterday afternoon, I noticed that there was no such warranty information listed on our service ticket.  I would assume that the lower unit repair just recently completed would have a similar guarantee.  Could you advise on how I could receive documentation of this for my records?

Mercury Parts Express !!!

Mercury Parts Express just announced that they will discoutinue their boat parts and accessory online shopping web site as of June 30, 2012.  After two years the site will be scrapped.  We hope to see a new product come from Mercury in the near future for online shopping  but we will just have to wait and see.

Last week we sent a 48 pound package to Ireland.  We usually don’t ship outside of the US and Canada but we made an exception because we were the only shop in the world that had the rare parts this man needed.  We shipped this package via US Postal service and to our suprise, he received the large box in under a week!
